Neustar IVA – Demo app
My role: visual design and image generation, input on user flows, and iOS specification
While fully functional, this mobile app is actually a simulation demonstrating how Neustar's identity-matching capabilities can be incorporated into a customer's product. The app allows users to open a credit account by scanning an ID (generally a driver's license) and taking a photo of their face. If the data matches secure records, credit can be extended immediately.
Designing for mobile can be a challenge, especially when an app will be viewed on devices with different resolutions and dimensions. So detailed specifications ("redlines") are essential, with sizing, placement, and layout defined in terms supporting responsive design. There are many apps out there that will generate redlines automatically. I've not been impressed with their final products, which generally require extensive double-checking and are often full of tiny errors. So until this technology improves, I prefer to do my own redlining in the traditional fashion.
